Looks like he's done pretty well, had a slow start due to injury rehab. but took his chances when they came and played himself into first team.

Recently retired Christian Short, alongside his former Lyon club mate Matthieu Lazerges, is coaching Vienne in Federale Two, the French fourth tier.
Last Sunday, Vienne defeated Grasse to reach the semi-final of the competition, which continues until late June!!!! Strasbourg await. The four semi-finalists are promoted so Vienne is back in Fed. One after a season in the lower division...

A ten-minute cameo from Shorty wasn't enough to prevent a Vienne defeat!

It was known he was going to the Italian league alright, but that is the first I heard of which club.
He might get the odd run-out for Treviso as a permit player during internationals maybe.

Update on the rugby league. Mata Fifita has joined Peter Bracken on the Galway Tribesmen team that are in the Munster/Connacht final which takes place 18th July at 2.30 down the Claddagh.
Peter was selected to go to Ireland trials along with 7 team mates but couldnt go due to injury

At 28 he technically is coming into his prime as a prop. Hopefully this short term deal will help kick start his career and earn him a longer term contract at Leinster or somewhere else.
