Connacht travel to Bordeaux for the Challenge Cup clash on Saturday January 19th

This is expected to be a popular trip with the travelling Clan.

Tickets are available online.  Most of the Clan are in section 40B. 

Getting there

There are direct flights to Bordeaux with Aer Lingus. A lot are on the Friday afternoon flight.

Accommodation

Lots of options around town. A good few are in the Ibis Meriadeck (and the neaby Ibis Budget/Styles/Meriadeck)

Hospitality

We have been in touch with their supporters' club, UBB Angels, a few o whom were over for the game in October.

We are meeting them in the Connemara pub on Friday night at 8, but some will be there earlier if anyone is at a loose end.

Match Day Transport

The stadium is on the tram line.

Things to see

 It's on the UNESCO World Heritage list for architecture so you should find some nice buildings. The Musée des Beaux Arts is impressive and there are loats of other museums, churches, etc.
