(dont get us confused with leinster supporters when daddy drops us in town in a merc and hands us €100)

i hope there is a big crowd for it and it works out well,

quick question, which bar is supporting connacht rugby/clan? this is in buskers and ulsters game was in monroes!

It's pretty much, as and when you can I guess.

But the Quins lads and ladies will be in town for a couple of days either side of the match so only good manners to enable those that can come out to play on Friday to do so in a convivial environment...

Oh yeah and GBFM want to get some vox-pop for the game...

I see where you're coming from on the cost, hopefully a good few will be able to pop in and get in the mood for match day (my plans had included watching the documentary twice in a row). Don't want to make a huge deal about it, if people are looking for an excuse to pop out for an hour, then away we go. Sure whoever can make it, great, if not, no hassle either way. It seems as if a lot of the Quins lads will be over on Friday and even if its a purely a Hello and away we go, that's enough. Harder to organize something on the day with the crowds and inability to get from Main Stand to Clan Stand (especially afterwards, where the will might not be there, one side is going to be disappointed anyways), but you never know, and will bear it in mind for future.

re: bars, am glad to say that many places are giving the clan their support this year. We had something in the planning for Zebres in Buskers which fell through as Sky fecking Sports apparently don't, you know, like showing sports. Stay tuned for future events in a selection of fine drinking emporiums around Galway.

Evening all

Plans are in motion for a 'Welcome to Galway' event with Quins supporters on Friday evening at 7 p.m. in Buskers. Hopefully we'll get a good gang over from London, but would be great to get a good gang from Galway to come up. GBFM are hoping to be there, so might be an opportunity to talk [strike]about last years win[/strike] about how the game is going to go on Saturday. An idea of numbers would be great, but more the merrier.
