Only one more sleep (if you can get any sleep) to the final match of the Season! Yes, that's right, Connacht v. Leinster in Murrayfield is tomorrow! Click through for some travel options (including a great deal being offered by Spirit of Ireland Travel), locations of plan meet ups and more!!
The Clan will be meeting in the 3 Sisters in Cowgate on Saturday pre-match fun. There's going to be a good gang heading there, so come along, sip a pint (of tea - the Clan will be too nervous for anything stronger) and discuss the match.
For any fan who is unlucky enough not to be heading over, remember that the Dail Bar is the official home of the Connacht Clan. The match will be live in the Dail, and no doubt the athmosphere will be immense and intense!
For any late stragglers, Spirit of Ireland travel are organising a bus leaving Galway this evening, staight over to Edinburgh and back in Galway again by Sunday morning. The price can't really be beat at €109.00. For anyone still on the fence, you'll be kicking yourself if you don't make the trip. Spirit of Ireland can be contacted on 091778778 or 0877777805. Don't delay!!
For those who are already on their way, safe travels. Keep a seat warm for those travelling tomorrow.
Remember to follow the Clan on Facebook or Twitter.
Listening to the Sky commentators go from expecting Leinster to win to gushing over Connacht was great, especially Stuart Barnes, started out talking about Sexton showing why our back 3 weren't selected for SA, changing to 'Are you sure Joe?' re Matt Healy

I had it recorded, but it seems Coronation Street was recorded over it on the digital box

I confess to watching it online on link to BEiN Sports provided on the forum, on TG4 player, on Setanta and also on Setanta with sound down and commentary linked to GBFM live match podcast, listened to all the Craggy Rugby podcasts on the match twice and am now working my way back through the podcasts from the season.
No I don't have a life and I don't care, we are the Pro12 Champions!!!

I heard from a 95 year old Connacht supporter yesterday who simply cannot believe he would ever see the day. Delighted.
He says he is still is hanging on and waiting for a Mayo All Ireland.... so plenty of years in the man yet!
A couple of years ago you would have gotten great odds on Connacht to win the league before Mayo win the All-Ireland.
With all the Elverys rumours, I think Pat Lam may be involved with the Mayo team in some way over the summer.....
Even Pat can't work that miracle

Harsh, but fair.
Switched on TG4 for the Ireland game yesterday evening and for some reason (they like winding up Leinster folk?) they were showing brief highlights of the Pro12 final. Stood there shaking my head for ten minutes. Still having trouble believing it!

Ah jaysus don't tell me the prize money has gone to bailing out Munster and their Debt Star...

if you saw munster's financial statement they highlighted the drop in revenue as a result of not being in the final stages of the pro12.
FACECUTTR replied the topic:#457386 years 9 months ago
I asked the same myself. Surely there has to be something.
Newname replied the topic:#457376 years 9 months ago
Is there prize money for winning the Pro-12 or is there just a share out /percentage of the gate and TV money?
Westie85 replied the topic:#457336 years 9 months ago
Just curious. does anyone know how many medals Connacht got? Is it just the match day 23 or do all the players involved get medals after x amount of games like in the premier league?

In a way it's a pity the Champions Cup final is on in Edinburgh. Ideally I'd like a bit more variety, but I suppose if we get there I'd probably still go.
