The Connacht Clan are saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Munster Rugby head coach Anthony Foley in Paris.

Our thoughts, and the thoughts of the entire Connacht Clan, are with Munster, their players and management, and friends and family at this time.

Connacht will be hoping Christmas comes 2 days early as they travel to Ravenhill on December 23rd to face Ulster.

Connacht take on Brive in StadeAmedee-Domenech in the away leg of this important Challenge Cup Fixture. The match isn't being broadcast on any Irish station, but our friends at Murtys will be doing their best to get the match shown from the Green Room! 

Don't forget that the Clan are travelling to Munster in early January. Spaces are limited, so book now to avoid disappointment.

The Clan will be running a Bus from Bordeaux Airport to Brive to connect with the Aer Lingus flights from Dublin on Friday December 8th and Sunday December 10th.

The cost is €50 return. In the event that the bus is full, we will have enough funds left over to cover a pre-match meal being organised by Kop Cabiste, the Brive Supporters' Club at their HQ.

Connacht will play the Cardiff Blues at the Arms Park on Friday November 24th.

Pro14 action is back in Murty Rabbitt's! Join the Clan in the Green Room for Connacht taking on Cardiff in Wales! The match isn't being broadcast on any Irish broadcaster, so Murtys is the only place to be guarnteed to be showing the game!

Former Connacht and Irish internationals Noel Mannion and Johnny O’Connor will perform the Galway launch of Connacht — The Team That Refused To Die on Thursday evening.

The annual Connacht Clan Table Quiz will be taking place in Murty Rabbitt's, Galway on Wednesday the 28th March 2018 at 8.30 p.m.

All proceeds from the quiz, to include raffle, ticket sales and spot prizes, will be going directly to the Paediatric Department at University Hospital Galway, our chosen charity partner this year.

As per usual, neither the Clan, nor our hosts for the evening, will be retaining any funds. The Quiz is entirely volunteer run, so every cent raised will go directly to Paedatric Ward.

Tables are €40.00, with a max of four per table. Members or no, all are welcome!

We can promise that we'll do our best to get the match on the big screens, but technology or indifference on the part of the Pro12 might let us down.
