Not going to go to this one at short notice but there are flights for very good value, comparatively speaking.
Change from 600 with KLM and you even get to take a day flight on the way out, which is handy for a short trip (though the 0555 departure might mean you miss a night's sleep on the way to Dublin anyway).
You seem to get a better price if you go to KLM via Google flights than if you search there directly (and a couple of quid less again if you go through booking.com or one of the other agents) ...
Rain forecast for Saturday though, so I won't bother
EDIT: Even as I was typing they seem to have gone up - but you can still go Fri-Tue via Istanbul for about the 600 mark ...

Don't post here much anymore but I'll be going
Capetown is a great spot for the most part so if people could tie it into a last minute city break I would really recommend that.

I know a few Clan are heading over.
Cape Town is a great spot, we had spent a week there while on a tour a few years ago (Cheetahs and Kings).
I was seriously thinking of this one, KLM to Cape Town via Amsterdam on Thursday, back Sunday evening....Accommodation very reasonable too!!
Unfortunately (lucky for my wallet) Work blackballed me this morning
Will be going to HQ to watch this match..
Something tells me there will be a good Crowd on Rabbitts

I was booking it until I remembered I will have the pleasure of having 2 auditors instead onsite on Thursday and Friday so that's the trip put to bed.
Murty's will be hopping on Saturday so get in early if you are thinking of heading in. Also if anyone is free tomorrow morning we might try get a crowd at The Sportsground in the morning to see the lads off.
Once I know what time I will put up posts on the usual spots.

If anyone is around tomorrow morning at 9.30am (Tuesday May 9th) pop to the Clan Entrance at The Sportsground. Will give the lads a good send off on their trip to SA.

Not predicting a sellout for this one. I'd say if freebies don't appear you'll get them on the day. I think it was 3 quid for the Cheetahs game last time but Stormers could be treble that ...

Strictly off topic as this is a travel thread but,
DHL Stormers v Connacht
DHL Stadium, Cape Town – KO 15.00 IRE & UK / 16.00 ITA & SA
Referee: Mike Adamson (SRU, 72nd league game)
AR 1: Sam Grove-White (SRU) AR 2: Hollie Davidson (SRU)
TMO: Ben Blain (SRU)
My sympathies, should be Hollie on the whistle.

Did people decide where they're sitting yet?
Heard tale of a supporters page on Facebook where it was being discussed but can't find it.

I picked one up in the lower tier pretty much on the halfway. If there's a bung going in together in happy to get another - they rather cheap!
Just landed - Any plans to meet up pre game tomorrow?

Not heard anything, but there's an Irish pub called The Ferryman in the V&A about 15 mins walk from the stadium so I'd wager that's a decent bet
