Still awaiting confirmation of the details.
Will probably get the train to this one. Got a week to get to Cardiff if we win
Our old haunt the Hotel Continental is a bit pricey this time around so booked the Aurora, handy for the hospital if it all goes wrong.

Reached out to Keller travel re a package deal for this trip.
Not sure what sort of crowd we will get at this match, but when they get back to me I'll post it here.
Be nice if EPCR actually give us plenty of notice... Got a feeling that it'll be a Sunday match

Last two seasons (only ones with a round of 16) there was only one match of the eight on the Sunday (3-4 each on Fri/Sat). Not sure if that is any guide to this year.
Fixtures were confirmed on Feb 8th last year, so should be a couple of weeks.
Hopefully they will confirm the conditional fixtures for the QFs at the same time.

We'll get screwed here as CR will have booked their flights before the Fixtures are announced.
Prices will jump to stupid levels. Can't really book the flights until they announce the dates though (Unless you are staying 4+ days).
Gotta a bad feeling that it'll be a Sunday Matchday
What's the route so far @Pinky
Any notions of the venice simplon-orient-express?

Yep, Flights just booked there.
That was a nice thing for them to do, a Saturday at 4pm.. Really though they would have put us on a Sunday afternoon!!
Outbound - Ryanair - Friday 31st March
Dublin-Venice
Return - Aer Lingus - Sunday 2nd April
Venice Dublin
Continental Hotel has goods rates for those 2 nights...
Just a heads up Ryanair do not fly directly to Treviso any more..

More like the Venice Pinklon Pony Express.
Booked the sleeper from Cologne to Innsbruck Thursday night.
No hurry on Friday now so I can take my time over the Brenner Pass.
Milan Sunday and then the Bernina back across and will have a gawk at the Black Forest for a few days on the way to Cardiff/Sportsground/Easter Dinner (delete as appropriate).

Throwing it out there but anything to be said for being based somewhere other than Treviso?
4pm kickoff will be easy to get to from from lots of places with more pub options.
Padova is about 40 mins away and is a nice spot.
Mestre even closer (never spent much time there but it has pubs and restaurants and is handy for everywhere).

You could stay in Vicenza, it's only an hour away by train. Looks nice too. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vicenza
