Hi All,
We are looking into the possibility of arranging a return bus to Brive from Bordeaux Airport for the Brive match on the weekend of 16/18 December.
For this Bus, we will need guaranteed numbers to arrange this bus. If we do not get the numbers we cannot offer the service, we will also need for the ECPR to let us know the exact dates too
Keep your eyes peeled as once they announce the exact date, we can action this bus trip.....

The EPCR site has our game listed 3rd on the schedule of matches for the weekend of 16-19 Dec. (See photo)
it could mean that we will be playing on the Friday night.

You can presumably rule out Sunday anyway as I doubt they will put anything up against the oddly scheduled World Cup Final.
And the Aer Lingus flight on the Sunday clashes with the football, so if the game is Saturday there will be a schism between those who want to stay another night and watch it in comfort and those who aren't that pushed about the round ball, making bus planning a bit tricky.

If it's a Friday match, we'll have to travel on the Thursday. Aer Lingus Flight gets in at 14:55 (Without any delays) on Friday.
Bus probably will take 2.5 hours . At best we would be in Brive on Friday at 6pm.....I think thats a no go as Air Travel from Dublin has been a little "Sketchy" at the mo!!!
And thats at best!!!!!

Once they announce the actual date, we can action this.
We will need a guaranteed number though to make the bus viable for everyone...We can't have a bus of 8 people on a 50 seater

I booked a flight to Marseille the Sunday before for some reason. Can you run a bus from there? It's only about seven hours and I can guarantee two people (including the driver)

Afraid this idea is dead in the water Peeps. We cannot make this work.
If it was a Saturday K/O then we would have had a chance....
Hopefully see you in Brive though

For those still booking the trip
- which stand/block will you gather
- meet at the Shamrock Pub in the afternoon?
We'll win this Challenge Cup if we get these away points in Brive and then target Top 4/Top 2 of our pool, home round of 16, QF, maybe SF and final in Dublin!

Could be a good shout as le Bar Basque has closed. Thats the one we dropped anchor in the last trip to Brive..
We are reaching out to the Brive supporters to see if they want to meet for a "beverage or 2"

I am assuming that Pinky is on the case re watering holes!!
Re tickets, there's plenty of time yet. Will wait to see how many more are confimring and will then decide...We had pretty good tickets the last time we were in Brive, must dig up ticket to see where we were..
