I suppose I will have to go so...
Booked same flight and hotel as El Presidente so am sure it will be a quiet affair.

So, as pointed out to me by someone from Tuam, there's rail works in the Bristol region on the Saturday and Sunday.
National Rail
website
In summary, the line into Bristol from the north is closed just outside of Temple Meads.
For those flying out of Bristol airport, coming from Cardiff the morning after the game, instead of direct to Temple Meads, train will stop at Bristol Parkway, and there's either buses or shuttle train to Temple Meads, and you can get the airport bus from there as usual. I'd allow an extra 1 hour for the trip, as it's only hourly shuttle service.
If you're going to Cribbs Causeway, there are buses from Parkway direct to the shopping center, and buses from there back to city center after your shopping. Day ticket is 5stg, which is same price as 2 returns.
The real kicker, for anyone that was thinking of popping to Bath for Bath v Newcastle at the Rec, to see Conor Kenny, it looks like the rail line between Bath and Bristol may be a bus replacement service, so will be slower getting back after the game. Add in the reports of extended delays to get through security at airports, it might make the journey to the airport after the game, a little too risky. Tickets for Bath game, are on sale
