Hi all. Not sure how many people have seen the front page, so feel free to read up on our new announcement there:
www.connachtclan.com/news/247-connacht-c...announce-new-sponsor
If you have any questions or comments, here would be the place to address them.
I should say that I'm personally really excited about this, a place for the Clan (and general Connacht supporters) to gather, watch games and try and bring some of the forum chatter into the real world. The staff and management couldn't be more matched to what we're trying to do and are behind it 100%.
Can't wait to get started with the first events. Let us know what you think!

I do a bit of work in there, so I'm a bit biased, but I have been watching matches in there for years, a few of us have been availing of the free pint post-match for years. I can't wait for the first away match meet-up.

Good point GG... hadn't actually thought of the more obscure channels. They have all of the Sky Sports channels but perhaps not the regional ones. I'm sure we can figure out a streaming solution if we have to though. Will ask Shane to follow up with them on the channels.

I think we had this covered with them and, as s4p says, there are no televised matches not shown on Irish telly. Any match that is televised WILL be shown. I'm not sure if Sky have confirmed what matches they will/won't be showing as of yet.

Assuming they're not smart tv's it should be easy with a google chromecast dongle or apple tv

Wouldn't that be of questionable legality?
Not that I care but I suspect the Dail might (the pub that is, not the Oireachtas institution of the same name - they don't give a feck what's legal).

Yeah Pinky, will need to square it with them. To be honest this should not be illegal per se, given that our national broadcaster does have the rights to show all matches, they just have chosen not to. So depends on what the bar think.
