Clan members,
We'll be having the Connacht Clan Christmas Party in The Skeff on Eyre Square at 7.00 to coincide with the Heineken Cup game in Biarritz, which we'll be watching live. There'll be free finger food and a prize draw, so spread the word, we should have a great turnout and a fantastic atmosphere for the match.

Decadence
Think the party is a nice idea, and not suggesting you change it now, but why have it when some of the biggest clan supporters are away in France. Why did you not pick the 21st after the Munster match. Looks like we will have to our own party in Biarritz.

Fourdogs,
It's unfortunate that clan members travelling to Biarritz won't be here for the event, but we simply don't have the resources to pull off two events within a week, it's asking too much of the people who volunteer, especially 3 days before Christmas. We went with the Biarritz HC match as we're likely to get a better turnout for the televised game.
We definitely don't want to leave people out, especially core supporters who regularly travel to away games, so we'll take this on board for next time.

Fair play to the Clan on organising this. Hope to get along to it. Think its a good night in that you have more chance of getting people out to watch and event like this when they can watch the match also rather than closer to Christmas where I think you'd have a smaller turnout with all the hustle and bustle leading into Christmas.

A jersey and ball signed by the team will be two of the prizes on offer in the Skeff tomorrow night. Be there for 7 to get a good spot for the match!

ill be there. id love a signed jersey, wouldnt be to hard to get it signed but at this moment of time, i cant make myself go and pay €65 for a jersey and never wear it and have it framed.
if we make the 1/4 of the heineken ill do it or the semi of the amlin.
fingers crossed ill win tonight. hope for a big crowd
