Doran-Jones played for Lansdowne for a while but I think there was personal reasons why he wasn't picked up at Leinster. I'm not going to slander the lad here because I don't know if any of the stuff said was true but some Leinster boys I know has a very low opinion of him which might have tipped the scales in him not getting more coverage over here.
There was also this of course

Irish Flanker Michael Noone signed for Leicester Tigers today. Former Leinster and Ireland U-20's but picked up a serious injury before the 2010 JWC a couple of years back. Selected on the bench for all five games of the U20 Six Nations in 2009 though behind Rhys Ruddock, Dominic Ryan and Peter O'Mahony. Don't make the full Academy at Leinster because of injury and he's been over in England for the last season or two after playing for Seapoint in the AIL here. Glad to hear he's picked up a deal with Leicester, hope he gets a chance to impress.

There's few better finishing schools than the Tigers and if he's a rough diamond they'll polish him up something fierce. He can play 6 & 8 so definitely someone to keep an eye on.

He looks the business. Admittedly that's only the highlight reel but he has a good turn of pace and likes to come off scrums fast which stops alot of aimless box-kicking by the scrumhalf. One to keep an eye on and hopefully he fulfills his potential at the Tigers.

Anyone know much about Craig Ronaldson of Lansdowne who is an out-half? Apparently Bath are looking at him. He played for their Reserve team during the pre-season as far as i know but my knowledge of him is limited. Mike Ruddock is coaching him and he's a teammate of Matt Healy. With Carty young, Jarvis more of a 12 and Nikora not doing the business the last while, having an new IQ out-half might not be a bad signing if he's the business.

Athenry man Niall O'Brien, ex-Connacht, and previously with Blagnac (Fed One), has moved to Paris club Massy (relegated from Pro2 last season). Good move. They're a super club.
His brother, Gary O'Brien, (ex-Wegians?) has signed for RC Narbonne on an academy contract I believe.

I think Eoghan Hickey (OH from Dublin) was previously with Massy?

Thanks G_G.
He's listed as a squad member but didn't play last weekend. It's a decent level of rugby and both Niall and him should do well there.
