Standard of refs

Well it was great today to have the new Clan terrace open for business . Atmosphere was terrific , Eddie's plumage was looking good , the result was wonderful and the weather typical ....but .. aha but ... The ref. Oh dear the ref . He was very poor in terms of being in control . For large periods of the 1st half and into the second he did not stamp his rule on the players, mainly the Scarlets ,who spotted this and took advantage. He hesitated in making decisions , he had zero help from his touch judges and was nervous . Thankfully he became more authoritative in the 2nd half . I hope the ref gets good advice from his peers and listens well . I admire someone with balls to ref , but only when they impose themselves in a strong and fair manner . Still we won in the end , both the game and in support so enjoy our moment ..
