Slightly worrying that Kerins hasn't had any time at all yet considering he was one of the star players on that u20 side but hopefully he takes this opportunity and runs with it.
McKeon is on for the next few months after shoulder surgery so we have have two fit seniors and an academy if anything happens to blade or Mitchell on this tour we will definitely need a joker

It's mad to think that we are without our all blacks beating scrum half have 2 back ups one decent but can be inconsistent in Blade another relatively untested in Mitchell and an Academy player Kerins, all while McKeon is injured
Imagine if another province was in this position...
Oh... Wait...

3 SHs is ok. Mitchell, Blade and Kerrins are quality backups other provinces haven't. If we have really really bad luck and one more injury, then of course we'll need a joker.

He will be working with former Connacht front rows Pat O’Toole and Jamie Dever. O’Toole is US eligible and is in the mix for international caps. Charlie Connolly the Irish u20s tighthead from a couple of years ago is there too.

Good guy and a handy and versatile player, it's a good move for him, if perhaps a wee bit late.
Think he would have got much more out of a move to France/Italy three years back.

Just read today that he is off to London Irish on a short-term deal until the end of the season as they have a couple of injuries at outhalf.

Tis a good deal for both sides. He'll get game time and London Irish will get an experienced 10 that could do damage in the Championship for them.

Just saw Denis Coulson had joined Stade Francais about a month ago as a medical joker. Good for him to get back on the pitch.

Good article about Wilkinson and his progress as a coach. Sounds like he got off to an iffy start but motoring now.
