Little update to former non Ireland players playing international in the last month,
Aj MacGinty - USA
Shane o Leary - Canada
Ofisa Treviranus - Samoa
Naulia Dawai - Fiji B
Dylan Rodgers - Hong Kong
Hong Kong are going well and will be going to France next year to play Canada, loser of Samoa or Germany (very likely Germany because Samoa won 66-15) and an African team. Well done to Dylan for taking his chance.
The Hong Kong team with the place of birth is like the BaaBaa's, players from every country.
35 man Squad,
Uk 11
Thailand 1
Australia 5
Hong Kong 8
Ireland 1
New Zealand 3
France 1
Germany 1
South Africa 3
China 1
Samoa better win away to Germany or the President is saying he'll fire all the players and get the under age to play as they would show more heart. Before the first leg, Samoa lost 10 games in a row.
Also, Stacey Ili is in the wider pre season Auckland squad for the Mitre cup

Kudos to swift4prez. Excellent post. Didn't realise the repechage tournament was in France. Some reading tells me that it is a league format - each side playing each other in the November test window. Kenya very warm favourites to be the African side.

Andrew Deegan starts for the Australian Super Selection (no, it's not a box of biscuits) against the Wallabies in this weekend's trial match. http://www.rugby.com.au/News/2018/07/31/SuperXV-team-Wallabies-trial

He's actually ended up going to Hawks Bay and has started both games at outside centre
Also Eoghan Grace has retired, after leaving us he went to Plymouth, Coventry and back to Plymouth. He's nearly 31. Thought he was a player that gave us 100% but was always injured

I see Sene Naoupu was photographed in a Leinster jersey for the women's interpro series. Possibly even captaining them?

Yeah she was announced as captain of the 15s team. She also had on instagram that George is teaching and coaching in Gonzaga for the year. Good number our boys and past players have come through Gonzaga.

Fair play to Pat on Bristol's win this evening in front of a massive crowd at Ashton Gate. According to reports, he's as popular with the locals there as he was here.
