salmson wrote: It's actually even more complicated than that. If you play for your countries second team that ties you if and only if you have played for the second team against another country's second team. So if you played for Ireland A vs England A, you're tied, but if you played for Ireland A vs. Wales A you're not. Likewise playing for Wales U-20 vs. Ireland U-20 doesn't tie you to Wales but playing for Wales U-20 vs. France U-20 does.
The change stopping U-20 sides as second teams is welcome but there's still the possibility of changing nations through sevens - Olympics regulations allow you change nationality if (a) you haven't played for another country in 18 months and (b) you are a passport holder in your "new" country. Once you've played in 4 sevens events you can then also play 15-a-side for your adopted country, event if you've been capped as senior level for your own/original/first one.
Not anymore, that was one of the changes (to Wales A) as part of the 3/5 Year Residency negotiations at World Rugby....
U20's are no longer recognised as Wales' second team...

Mike McCarthy has been appointed forwards coach for Buccaneers, you'd hope most of the players from last season return since they got promotion

AJ's at 10 for the US vs Canada, being streamed live on the World Rugby Facebook page.
Just copped that Shane O'Leary is at 10 for Canada.

AJ's looking good but it's actually upsetting to watch him.

Ireland beat France and Spain, a direct opponent, and through the final vs Russia!
Very good games, world series here we come!
Old Carr, Rowland, and new guyv Conroy played part in it!
But Lord I'd love to have McNulty as back-up 12 for Connacht

Missed this. Is the final yet to be played or is it over. If it is still to be played what time is it at? If it is over how did it go?connachta wrote: Ireland beat France and Spain, a direct opponent, and through the final vs Russia!
