I see JOC is out with an injury and David Gannon is in the matchday squad. When did he get signed? Good to have him back.

Interesting one alright, we need long term cover for Nolan for sure...

Watching on http://www.justin.tv/twomintpork1#/w/1746528176 and commentary from Rob & Joe on GBFM , slow connection very frustrating..

Not as frustrating as the Italian ref today though.... >:(

Sweet lord, that was close.

We're really making things hard for ourselves.

I was listening to Rob, didn't know about the tv link! Bummer!

Not the best match I've even seen but you can't argue with two wins from two. I thought there were a lot of good signs for the future, McCrea, Jarvis look good as does Henry. For such a short time together the back line looks to be geling well. great pass from Henry and great line from McCrea for the try.

Come on Connacht

Yep on JustinTV, run by TwomintPork [Munster fan obviously] he has two different streams on the go usually.....

What I like about the win is that it is a win with us playing badly, which means there's room for improvement. Under previous coaches in that situation we panicked and usually blew the game in the last few minutes....

Getting Wilko back is a huge bonus, he made a big difference at scrumtime and I'm sure he'll be starting soon enough.

More games under the belt for Big George too after his disaster in Japan, he's good at the minute but a few more games and he'll be back to his brilliant best no doubt.

Try for McRea totally deserved, effort being put in by him is outstanding. Fionn who.....??

It goes back to what Eric said before last season when he was introduced as the new coach. It was about not dropping the heads when we go behind, and fighting for at least an LBP, getting within range of a win, keeping going. It's clear that message is as strong this year as before.

A tough match, and we're lucky Scarlets were missing their internationals, but we're making our own luck and will be tougher as we get more used to each other. Very happy to see.

To be fair he was incredible last night. Would be nice to still have him. For depth like...  ;)

Only kidding about Fionn, he'll be fine at Leinster if they back you can't train his instincts or footwork. If it doens't work out he can always come back, we'll need to strengthen the squad for HEC next season.... ;D

They didn't necessarily play well as a team but individually a lot of players did ok. I thought Tiernan O'Halloran showed some class, as did Eoin Griffin. Henry F drew in a few players and McCrea showed some stunning pace throughout.
George got better as the game went on and both Flavin and Ethienne did well.
I think I remember reading somewhere that this was the referee's first time officiating a professional match and it showed. He had no authority about the pitch and seemed not to know what to do on occasion.

In my opinion, Ethienne Reynecke should be our #1 hooker.  That guy makes things happen.  The complexion of that game changed (for the better) when he came in there with his rucks and carries.

I agree Brefnie, Reynecke was very very impressive, Flavin wasnt ... we lost alot of line outs while he was on

And losing lineouts are solely the fault of the hooker?
