Good stuff lads... S_P did you do up that guide? Great stuff.
I've added a front page article to the site for it, and will begin promoting the event in Buskers tomorrow for those not travelling. Added the info about the pub and bistro as well.

Myself and a buddy are going. Am meeting a friend of mine from Toulouse and I think he has my ticket so I don't know yet where I will be.

Leighton

Frog and Rosbif should have a good atmosphere on Friday.

They describe themselves as an “English Pub and Microbrewery” and considering that Ulster are playing Leicester at 20:00 on Friday. Connacht supporters shouting for Ulster should liven the place up a bit.

Yep definately Frog & Rosbif for bevvying Friday night, HID is a Gringo so will want to catch the game.

Not entirely sold on DeDanu, been there before during RWC 2007 and it's away from the town centre (and most things actually). Trev Brennan is the figurehad for the pub, primarily to lure Irish drinkers. It's a bit Costa Del Sol Oirish Bar, but probably better for post game libation after we've won...

Tickets sorted too, and my personal courier (Leighton) is earning a pint or two by bringing them over with him. Only a couple left to be sold...

That wasn't through the branch though, the Charter companies (Kellers and Trev Brennan) get their tickets in a seperate allocation direct from Toulouse depending on the package they are putting together.

The big problem as with all our previous European games over the years is that the Branch does not outline or communicate it's intentions in terms of getting allocations for supporters for away trips. This is an area that the Supporters Club needs to really get to grips with them about, and work with them to communicate the supporters neeeds and then from the Branch out to the supporters. Then in turn Supporters needs to the Branch when they do proceed with assinging staff to manage this as it does cost time and money to organise.

The Branch need to realise that Supporters and epescially in these straightened times have to budget for these trips and plan ahead, most will want to be grouped together (especially if travelling as group e.g. clubs or groups of friends). So communicating early once they have determined what they plan to do will at least enable supporters who prefer to be in with the main group to hold off buying tickets...

Emailed the Frog & Rosbif and they confirmed they will be showing the Ulster game on Friday night, so that's where I'm heading to Friday evening if anyone is of a mind to join me for an ale or three....

Frog&Rosbif-Toulouse wrote: Thank you for your query for the weekend.

Yes indeed we will be showing the Ulster game on Friday night.

We also have a group with Leighton Turner from Connacht clan, who will arrive on Friday night too, which will make the pub The HQ of the Connacht supporters.

We are open from 17.30 on Friday and 12.30 on Saturday and Sunday until 02,00, on Saturday until 4am.

Sunday night our pub quiz starts at 21.00 which is quite fun.

We serve food from 19.00 until 23.00.

We will be more than happy to accommodate you, however we cannot guarantee a table for all after 8pm on Friday night. We will do our best though.

As a welcoming gift, we also offer you and your group a free pint when showing your match tickets at your arrival.

I look forward to welcoming you soon on what seems to be a great weekend for all.

Please do not hesitate to call or e-mail, should you have any more queries or need any other help regarding town info, accommodation etc.

Kind regards

Sounds good SP.

I'm in Porte 8 with my Toulouse buddy, and my mate and his dad are in the Connacht allocation. In fairness to the branch their allocation is nearly entirely gone so I suppose they did okay? Also we were bugging Martin about this for a while and in all honesty they just didn't know where or how many tickets they would receive from Toulouse. I suppose when you are club like Toulouse it is all too easy to ignore the likes of Connacht.

We should be in town about 4/5pm on the Friday. The Frog & Rosbif sounds as good as any preliminary plan, but I have no idea what the native may have planned.
