Amen to that, they made TOL look like he should be wearing the Green #9 jersey and I do not mean a Connacht one.

Completely and utterly toothless stuff

If we were there now we still wouldn't have scored a try

It's getting beyond a problem now. Something needs to be done.

Attack coach? Very little evidence of it

Very, very disappointing performance as usual in Thomond, we just never seem to turn up there. Niall O'Connor and Vainikolo are liabilities at this stage, Ah You as well. I dread seeing Loughney go off as the scrum is a write-off when he's not playing. We looked so insipid and listless, particularly second half, that's it's genuinely worrying what Leinster will do to us if they bring a full team - which is unlikely if anyone on their coaching staff saw the game. I don't agree our season is over being only 5 points behind Ulster but we are obviously in a very serious rut at the moment and it's hard to see a way out.

Watching the re run of this on Setanta, haven't seen it yet.

Munster got away with murder at every ruck, hands in left right and centre, side entries, players not rolling away. It was a disgrace that Phillips let it go for so long and even after O Callaghan got a yellow, he came back on and continued to do the same thing all over again without penalising him. Micko spent most of the game offside, and some of Ronan's entries and angles contesting the ball at the breakdown were so ridiculous it was comical. Philips overruled the touch judge at one stage after the ball was brought back into the 22 and Keatley kicked it out on the full. More crazy stuff, must have been terribly frustrating for the Connacht lads.

We were very lacklustre, but ultimately, if O Connor didn't miss some of them easy kicks and without Vainikolo's brainfart we would have been well in the game, regardless of how poor we were. Phillips officiating certainly tipped the scales as well. Shocking

If the ref isn't picking up on it, you don't moan about it, you follow suit.

Vainikolo got tied in two by a bounce. Just bad luck it happened in the in goal. When Jarvis came on he looked better. We're a better team all round when Jarvis gets the backs moving.

I agree... NOC is too flat.

The other problem is that we have no shape in attack. Our best moves are ad-hoc free-running when our players are just going with the flow. As soon as we are up against an organised defense there are no ideas about how to break them down.
