Very few people in the Clan Bar after the match to hear a very good interview with Cathal Forde following his Player of the Match Award. He had a great game. In regard to the Clan Bar, is that run by Connacht Rugby or some independent team? It's currently a very bad experience IMO. Pricing has gone crazy, the little room on the left was full of equipment, tent/gazebos, a few gas barrels and multiple other stuff lying around. No Guinness in the bar. €5.50 for an Oily Edge (:(......Hot whiskey delivered in a paper coffee cup. Who is in charge of this bar and how would a season ticket holder and Clan member give some feedback? Thanks all. Looking forward to Brive and Newcastle away.

I hear you. A lot of people seem to be heading straight to the Marquee after the match. We have struggled to get crowds into the interviews this season in the Clan Bar.
You could mention this to Connacht Rugby, they are not in charge of the bars, it's run by someone else, but I am not sure who it is though.
They run the Clan Bar and the outside bars on the Main Stand.
Unfortunately, the beers they have generally are Heineken products - the price increase was passed in December of €0.50 per pint of Heineken product.

If we have any upcoming meetings with the sales team, I'll be sure to mention it, as you are not the first one to notice this (CC)

Interesting topic to raise. I tend to go to the marquee when I am hanging around after the game. It's lovely and warm in there for a start and they have done a really good job on decorating it in recent years. There is no comparison between the Clan bar and the marquee really.

The Clan bar is well run in some ways. I love the way the staff shout at people to keep moving. It makes the speed of service really good. There are so many stadiums where you have to wait ages for a pint. I see where you're coming from with regard to the area on the left. It could do with being tidied up. In all honesty I see it as a good place to get a pint rather than hang around in. It being too cold is the main problem for me.

It's run by a Galway man who seems like a nice fella to me. He owns Massimo as well. I'm not sure what the arrangement is with Connacht but Connacht do get some of the money from it, I'm pretty sure.

As Shane said the selection being limited is a sponsorship thing. The prices have gone up but they have gone up everywhere. I was charged 7euro for a Moretti in Murtys recently. Guinness is 5euro there so it's not an expensive pub, it's just the way it's gone everywhere and stadiums are always a bit more expensive.

Personally, if you are making suggestions to Connacht about the Clan bar please mention the heat issue!
