Andy Brace gets the whistle.

I've never seen such a statement re referee appointments process. Cardiff must have kicked up a serious stink.

Is it just me, or is it very quiet around here?!
@connachta - wanna get the ball rolling with your 23 for Saturday? 46 players to choose from apparently, but Quinn isn't one of them.

Maybe something like:
15 TOH, 14 Leader, 13 Farrell, 12 Aki, 11 Healy, 10 Carty, 9 Marmion.
1 Buckley, 2 Heffernan, 3 Bealham, 4 Dillane, 5 Thornbury, 6 McKeon, 7 Fainga'a, 8 Butler.
16 Delahunt, 17 McCabe, 18 Carey, 19 Copeland, 20 Boyle, 21 Blade, 22 Godwin (or Dean if Godwin unavailable), 23 Stephen Fitzgerald.

For people who've been to Ravenhill before- where's best to park?
Annoyingly will have to drive up and down from Dublin on the day.
I noticed they do a park and ride, is that worth using?

For simplicity, yes. There's no actual parking near the ground, so it's street parking mostly.

Looks good. I have a feeling he'll start Blade though. With Copeland and Boyle on the bench, would we have adequate 2nd row cover? McCoy might get the bench spot ahead of Carey (even though I'd go with Carey personally)

Northern Lights on the Ormeau Rd opposite the Errigle is a Galway Bay Brewery pub. Seems fitting...

Northern Lights, Pavilion and Errigle all very good. Errigle does tend to get bunged. All 3 walking distance to ground. If looking food, I endorse the Pavilion. Can book tables etc. You can alternatively choose to support Malone RFC which is also walking distance to the ground.

Pavilion, Errigle and Malone RFC will have the Munster Benetton game on. Don't believe the Northern Lights will, but they do have beer from the excellent Galway Bay Brewery.

2 Park Ride options.
A free of charge Park & Ride service is provided on match days by Ulster Rugby operated by Translink. Located at Pirrie Park on the Ravenhill Road side of the ground (Methody Playing Fields Car Park) and also along Montgomery Road on the Mount Merrion side of the ground (opposite Podium for Sport). There are plenty of car parking spaces available and free buses run constantly along these routes from 90 minutes prior to the game until 90 minutes after the final whistle. The Montgomery Road is probably easier if coming from Dublin direction.

Montgomery Rd is one of the P&R sites???! I'd always assumed they were just using it as a staging point for the busses! It's only a short walk from there to the ground anyway.

I've always used Montgomery Road and the Park and Ride Bus.
Great service.
