Rugby is a game for big buggers. if you’re not a big bugger, you get hurt. I wasn’t a big bugger but i was a fast bugger and therefore I avoided the big buggers. ........ Spike Milligan

Don't bother trying to phone, I just spoke to someone, she said they're not doing phone sales as they can only process 1 order at a time and 'the queue is out the door here'. She gave me the tickets.ie no. 399977 but good luck getting any sort of answer from that lot, I've been trying them since 9am. She said someone is working on the sales portal to try to get it up and running asap.
Looks like the best bet for anyone who's in Galway and has the time is to get down to the Sportsground and get into that queue!

as they took the cash, from a legal point of view, they had no grounds to cancel the tickets, as they were purchased correctly, and not using any hacks or tricks. Contract with them was complete when the system debited our accounts.

It wouldn't be worth the legal trouble, or the bad press, to attempt otherwise.

anyhows, the site is still down for me, but I'm sorted.

Well they sold me a ticket to attend Connacht v TBC. They could always have set up an eagles game on the back pitch for the fifty or so of us.

Still down for me too, I'm sorted for adult tickets thankfully, just trying to get 2 juniors.

Yeah site still down. I got as far as clicking "purchase" one time, but no confirmation number or email so not sure I managed to actually get them. Flip sake, we are probably talking about 1000 concurrent hits to the application... they must be running on some pretty cruddy servers.

Anyways anyone who does have them should probably stay off the tickets.ie site. Those 5 people who have managed to purchase could make all the difference.

So we're playing Tauranga Boys College in the semi.
It's a surprise draw but I think we can take them.

I didn't get any email but that is not unusual. I did get a reference number though, even seat numbers..... So I would not be too confident about your transaction if you did not get any reference number.
They must be dodgy servers alright. It's not as if we are lining up for Garth Brooks tickets.

What a season this is. The amazing league campaign, the European run, awards a plenty, and now we're crashing ticketing websites. Exciting times to be a Connacht supporter.

Going to the Sportsgrounds is a bit like Mass:You stay until the players are off the pitch and never leave early!
