Hi everyone,
I'm actually beginning to gather information about where to stay, what to do (apart from attending the rugby match!) in Galway as I intend to travel to Ireland next november. So if any of you have a proposition to make, please write!
Thanks a lot!!!

Marty, if you have an iPhone we have an app with a map of Galway. Each hotel, bar and restaurant on the map help sponsor Connacht rugby in some way so they're a good place to start

Marty really depends on how long you intend on staying and whether you plan on hiring a car. Galway itself is quite small and you can cover most of the attractions in a couple of days - www.galwaytourism.ie/places-to-visit-galway/ . The area out to the west of the city "Connemara" is really beautiful, actually is the whole west coast of Ireland. Galway is also only two hours from Dublin which is worth a day or two's visit..

You're also not too far away from Limerick, it'd be ideal for a day trip. Although I've no idea why you'd want to go down there, its not as if its a big rugby town or anything
There's also some info on this site itself under 'Visitors Info' above. If you've any questions, let us know.
